The Ford CPO program allows our customers to purchase a pre-owned Ford with the complete peace of mind that it’s in the absolute best condition. Each Ford Certified Pre-Owned vehicle must pass a rigorous 172 point inspection before it can become a part of the certified program. Some of the features inspected include exterior lighting, brakes, glass and mirrors, engine, drive train, doors, interior, tires and wheels, etc. The vehicle history, including VIN inspection, service recalls, scheduled maintenance, and emissions, are also inspected in order to ensure that you’re buying the best.

The Ford Certified Pre-Owned program also includes comprehensive limited warranty coverage and powertrain limited warranty coverage. In addition to the 172-point inspection, every Ford Certified Pre-Owned vehicle comes with a comprehensive limited warranty covering more than 1000 components for 12 months/12,000 miles. Areas of coverage include engine, transmission, RWD, FWD, steering, brakes, suspension, electrical system, air conditioning and heating, technology components, emissions components, factory audio system, and safety systems. On top of the comprehensive limited warranty coverage, Ford includes seven-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty coverage with every Ford Certified Pre-Owned vehicle.  It covers the engine, transmission and more. It is also transferable to future owners at no cost and includes 24-Hour Roadside Assistance.

Just like our Better Buy Certified Used Cars, each Ford Certified Pre-Owned vehicle comes with a CARFAX® Vehicle History Report. A CARFAX Vehicle History Report is then run to identify any issues that don’t meet Ford’s standards. These issues include flood and fire damage, frame damage, salvage titles, branded titles, odometer issues, accident history, and vehicle title history.

For example, each one includes both comprehensive limited warranty coverage and powertrain limited warranty coverage backed by Ford Motor Company.
